I know I am about to say something derogatory about a very well-liked author, but I just couldn't get into this story. The paragraphs seemed to jump from mediocre descriptions and conversations to some what more technical paragraphs. Everything jumped from one style to another too much. I just didn't feel a connection to any of the characters or the situation. I don't think it was the unfamiliar British words that turned me off, just the whole writing style. Sorry, this is the first book I have reviewed that I didn't care if read or not.
