I did not know about this series so after reading the sample I am stoked! I really enjoy stories where people have to solve crimes and other problems without modern technology - and a female detective as the lead? Yes please! Not looking forward to the sexism, but just in this sample alone Jane has already shown them how smart and capable she is multiple times over.
