This story centers around a serious disease. Something passed from mother to son. Emotional, traumatic, and harrowing....there are secrets that span generations and a genetic trait corrupts the future of a family. It's a very unique premise. A story unlike many others. Usually psychological thrillers revolve around a person that threatens the life of another or others. In this case....it's something more and it's great because it's such a challenging read as far as staying focused throughout9 Which is very easy to do...great flow...a real page turner)....trying to figure out which way this story is going to turn....and learning all the scientific/medical aspects behind it. I enjoyed this book for it's uniqueness and it's characters.
