As soon as word begins to leak at how this pregnancy came to be, this trio soon finds themselves in a world of trouble -- and at odds with one another. Together, Claire and Robert think they have things figured out, forming a reclusive life together with their little girl Abigail, but perhaps Abigail is a little more perceptive than they’d like to believe. When Abigail begins to search for answers that might help her piece together some of her family’s history, she opens a Pandora’s box that sets off a chain of events she never imagined possible.
In the end, this was just an okay book for me. While this was certainly a unique and compelling storyline in theory, it felt pretty lackluster for me, especially as far as psychological thrillers go, and just left me hoping for a little bit more.
