Bookishfirst First Impression:

What a book! I read first 23 pages of this book. The book seems to be gripping and intriguing. The story begins when Abby (Abigail) is driving to New York City from Garrison with her parents on his dead brother Colton’s twenty-first birthday to his favorite place (Natural History Museum). Colton was 8 when he died and since that day they are living a dull life so that no one finds out where this family is living and no one recognizes them.
Abby is around 10 years old and a fifth-grade student. Their entire class has taken part in a genetic experiment conducted by a company named MapMyDNA. She had created a profile on the company’s website a few days ago before visiting the museum and shared her experiment results with a stranger who happens to share 37 of her genes and claims to be her mother’s distant cousin whom she has lost touch with. As soon as they are about to enter the museum on the stairs above Claire Abby’s mom sees her and gets a panic attack. They manage to get out of there and Claire is pathetic even after a month of this incidence and Abby is unable to understand.

This book is so absorbing. I am definitely ordering a copy of it. Thank you bookish first for the first impression.
