The story has to do with the genetic alteration of embryos in order to produce a healthy child. This story is told in a few different characters point of view. It jumps around from past to present but,I found it easy to follow. Definitely a page turner..This was a new Author to me but will definitely look into more of her books. Book is about scientific possibilities and moral boundaries. Does a mother know best?The story tells of a mother with a genetic disorder and loses a child. A father who wants more children. A mother who will try anything to get a healthy child. It was easy to follow. Definitely wanted to finish to the end. I highly recommend this book. I'm glad I got a chance to read
