I'm always going to jump the gun when it comes to reading psychological thrillers. Rarely am I disappointed because it's just such a great genre. And that's what I did for this book. I jumped the gun at the first sentence, "Claire's dreams became a nightmare when she passed on a genetic mutation that killed her little boy." If that doesn't suck you in as a fan of psychological thrillers, or one jumping into the genre, I don't know what will.

The trio of Claire, her husband, and their doctor, set out to create an illegal experiment meaning to elimiate inherited diseases. After the doctor is left to serve a prison sentence and Claire (pregnant) and her husband escape by the skin of their teeth, there's a time jump. After 10 years, Jillian finally gets out and she wants revenge and what's "rightfully" hers. Read it, devour it, savor it.
