Abby's parents have a secret that they are keeping form her. She knows something is up, but not what. She has been told she has no other relatives and the small family of 3 live in a small town. At school, her class does a DNA project and she receives a chat from someone who claims to be a distant relative. Forgetting about the caution, never to speak to stranger, Abby arranges to meet her "cousin", in NYC, when her family makes their annual pilgrimage the Natural history Museum, commemorating her dead brother, Colton's birthday.
