I love the cover of this book; but this plot totally grabbed me by the heart, especially with everything happening right now in Cuba. I know so many people who have immigrated and their stories are full of terror and hardship and the road is long and hard (literally and figuratively). I am excited to read this book and continue to educate myself about the hard things our immigrants have to go through to obtain a better life.
