This book is incredibly timely given the current situation in Cuba. The first look highlights the strength of the writing and the topic is fairly important right now, to understand the experiences of Cubans, both those who have left and those who have remained. The cover is stark and creepy, but it's not necessarily as eye catching as I might like.
