While I do think the first few pages offered good writing and an intriguing plot, I don't think this book will be for me. I've definitely come across books like this in the past where I'm sucked in for the first few chapters and then I rapidly lose interest to the point where I don't want to continue. I think I'll just pass on this one. I hope others enjoy it just fine, though.
