I'm unsure where this story is headed. The writing feels like war/military/spy genre-ish, but it appears to be marketed as general fiction. I feel like there's a disconnect between these first 20 pages and the blurb. I don't know how to fix it, but the description just doesn't fit, or account for, the first 20 pages. It's well written enough and the premise is interesting enough that I want to read more reviews before I decide whether or not to read the rest.
