Holy smokes! What a crazy ending to an intense story of poor Alice Hill who was brutally attacked at age 14 by twins girls pretending to be her friends. The Glassin twins attacked Alice and stabbed her claiming they were following the demands of Mister Tender, a fictional character from Alice’s Father’s graphic novels. Or so Alice thinks.... over 20 years later Alice has moved to the United States and owns her own coffee shop just trying to reclaim even a fraction of normality in her life, until a mysterious book from England shows that seems like her Father was writing it, but has no return address. Little does she know, Alice is in for the ride of her life which she’ll just barely survive. What an amazing book and I absolutely love that Carter Wilson wrote it based on the true story of the Slenderman.
