This book will keep you guessing the entire time. It tells the story of Alice Hill who was stabbed by a pair of twins when she was 14. The Glassin Twins are obsessed with a character Alice's dad draws for his graphic novels who is known as Mister Tender. The story takes place 14 years after the attack on Alice and she is trying to move on with her life while still trying to deal with what happened to her. She suffers horrible panic attacks due to what she went through. I did not want to put the book down because I wanted to see how it eneded. If you are looking for a suspense that will keep you guessing then this is the book to read. It is stated that Carter found inspiration for this book from the tragic tale of the Slenderman stabbing and he did not finish reading about what happened as he wanted his story to come to life in a different way without bias.
