Open this book and you will find a good Southern story. The author did a fantastic job painting a picture of Glory, Alabama and the people that live there. I quickly loved the characters especially Dovey. There was an easy flow between the different neighborhoods and classes of characters. I enjoyed it but I wasn't sure it was completely believable considering the year this story is set in. There was an easy flow to this story and there wasn't an unbelievable twist but a clever solution to the mystery. I easily pictured the scene and enjoyed the interaction between the different characters. This novel will explore loss, love and healing. This would be a wonderful book to take on vacation and would make a good Hallmark movie.
