I really enjoyed this novel. It was a heartwarming story with a little bit of magic, romance, and it definitely hit close to home. The story definitely was filled with some life lessons and I found myself invested in the characters. Things are rarely black and white and this novel did a great job reminding us about that. I warn you though, you will want a piece of pie after reading this book!

Anna Kate has taken over her grandmother's cafe and plans on selling it once her grandmother's estate is set. She finds that she truly loves cooking, however she is determined to finish her medical degree even if that isn't truly what she wants. Natalie has also returned home a widow. She doesn't like living at home but she needs to take care of her daughter. A great read!
