When starting over doesn't quite look like you thought
I was so not ready for the First Look at Heather Webber's Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe to end! Being drawn right into Anna Kate's story, and getting the first glimpse of the people who inhabit the small town of Wicklow was mesmerizing. That there's already a mystery involving her parents is just that much more enticing. And knowing, in my heart, that Wicklow is where Anna Kate belongs, well, that's just the ice cream on the side of the pie!
Webber writes with an easy style, letting the characters reveal themselves at their leisure. I like that! Quite aside from the fact that starting over is one of my favourite story lines, I know this will be a great read, can't wait to sink right into it!
