Being an Alabama native myself, I was immediately drawn to this Southern novel, although I have never read this author's works before. It is charming, and the characters and story line draw you in right from the beginning.I do feel we Southerners are particular about Southern drawl/plots being written about, but she did an excellent job satisfying both requirements for this Southern girl. I am eager to read more of this book.
Quite honestly, 700 characters is a lofty goal for a reviewer to fill up space for only having read a few pages. Does the person reading this really want to spend his or her time reading multiple paragraphs about a couple of pages perused by the reader?
