So far I like what I am reading!! I am getting caught up with the story of the granddaughter and her grandmother, with their secrets of their heritage. I get a warm fuzzy feeling when reading about the grandmother. What is going on with mother leaving her hometown. Why is she so adamant about not ever returning. And what happened to her husband? I am sensing family drama; family secrets to be revealed; mysterious goings on; mystical magical realism; how things happen that will make sense of things that were initially unknown. I want to keep reading on with this story!! I have seen this book being advertised previously, and I was drawn by the cover of the book. Blackbird Pie; What will we find out about this pie people are drawn too?
