Wonderful story to read sitting on the front porch! Small town life and the secrets and gossip that go with it. But usually what everyone things is the truth is far from it. Anna missed her grandmother and the bond they shared. Grandmother's are special to us all and I have amazing memories of mine.
It seems the past is full of secrets for Anna. Will she find family after all these years of not having any? Why was her mother so set on her not knowing the magic of her grandmother? The characters were well written and the story caught me and did not let go. While reading I felt I was visiting my grandmother and all the things she taught me. Above all she said to love others and be kind. I hope that is what I'm teaching my grandkids now. Great book and I highly recommend!
