Beautiful story that pulls you in right from the very beginning. It is the story of Anna Kate, a young woman who has recently lost her grandmother. Her grandmother Zee stipulates in her will that Anna Kate must go to Zee's home in Wicklow and reopen her Blackbird Cafe. Anna Kate opens the Cafe and ends up falling in love with the small town, her neighbors, customers, and a family that she thought she would ever be able to forgive. I love books like this filled with magic, love, family, and hope. There is also some great descriptions of the food served at the cafe which sounded delicious and teas and other things that Anna Kate creates. The writing is excellent and I am looking forward to reading more books from this author.
