After reading the first two pages I was already so impressed by how well the author captures the readers attention. I love that the story has a sense of home and comfort in it it truly makes one feel like they are in the story. I also loved the way the author describes every detail of the characters. Overall the 50 pages that were read were well written and I was left wanting to read more!! I love the main character and how the author is given a brief background of her history I loved how they incorporated her struggles as a student along with her desire to keep going to school despite her downfalls financially. I also started to really become invested in Natalie’s character and her past with becoming a mom and her husband passing away and her struggle for a job. Overall I really loved the characters and just the way this book made me feel like I was inserted into the pages and living in the book.
