This book was just what I needed. There is not one part that I did not like. The characters were written with great care and depth. As well, the writing was well paced and descriptive. The magical feel led to a great book to read in the late Summer/early Fall timeframe.
There is a book that I read prior to this one that has the same magical feel with similar plot points. A Slice of Magic by A.G. Mayes is a recommended read if you enjoy this one. Also, if you are a fan of the movie Steel Magnolias, I think you will enjoy this one.

And perhaps it is due to the story of Anna Kate finding out more about herself and getting her own break from life.
