After I read the first impression, I couldn't help but want to read more of the story. Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe revolves around Anna Kate as she returns to Alabama where her family is from and her grandmother's restaurant, The Blackbird Cafe. The more I read, the more I visualized Anna Kate's story. The cover was wonderful and I think what drew me in to the story in the first place.
