A theme that seems to be repeating a lot lately is a young woman returning to her mom or grandmother's roots to settle an estate. This is the case here, but it seems a more homey version than most of the others.

Anna Kate has returned to the small town of Wicklow to settle her grandmother's estate and run her restaurant in the meantime. The famous blackbird pie is a legend, not only for taste, but for the powers the pie brings.

Along with her return is the return of Natalie and her baby. Why are the townspeople hinting that there might be something for Natalie to learn about Anna Kate? Why is there so much animosity between their mothers?
