Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe isn’t my typical genre, but after reading more about it, I am interested. The plot sounds charming and sweet. I’m also curious about what a blackbird pie is after reading this description. I especially like the comparisons to Like Water for Chocolate and Fried Green Tomatoes.
