The story is very well written. Centering around Anna Kate and how she takes over the Blackbird Cafe after her grandmother Zee passes away. I like the way the secrets are slowly spilled out on the pages, leading up to the main part of what happened the day her father died and why her mother was always hiding the truth from her.
Will she find the answers she is looking for?
The cover looks more like a cookbook cover than a Fiction cover to me. But it does represent the main focus of the book.... Blackbird Pie!
