Ingredients & Intent
Upon first glance the cover draws me simply for the colors. Dark and broody, but still homey. For the inclusion of natural materials, nothing shouts plastic at me indicating a timelessness even though the description tells a different story. My grandmother is Wiccan. She's always taught me that you don't just put ingredients into what you make, be it food or products. There is always an intent, and you must always do, or make, with love and kindness. We do this because what you put into your work will spread. She always does her best work with the moonlight streaming in through the kitchen window. The cover of this book reminds me of the island in the center of her kitchen, and evokes feelings of home, family secrets and good intent.
