The multi generational story of Anna Kate, Eden and "Granny Zee" narrated by Anna Kate explores Family Dynamics, going home and the culture of the Deep South. The vivid descriptions, well developed characters and plot have me wanting to devour the rest of this book today! Maybe while eating a slice of Blackbird Pie... Or maybe not! I'll have to read the book to find out!
