This book was cute and if I had nothing to read while I was at the beach I would probably read it. There seems to be a few elements of magical realism but they aren't expanded on. If Webber leaned more into them, then I would be all over the book. None the less, all the questions that the book provides makes it intriguing and the Southern charm gives it warmth.
