Just from the summary of the book, I was intrigued. I think Raj is already an interesting character with a lot of inner turmoil and I like him a lot. I also like how even though racism is the main focal point of the story, it's not the racism against Raj, but his racism (though accidental) towards another. I can't wait to see how the rest of this unfolds, and how Raj's life changes, whether for the best or the worse.
