Good for those seeking Christian perspective

Despite not being interested in “spiritual insight about God's view of marriage,” I stuck with reading the First Look with an open mind. It’s a well-written book with interesting stories and Christian-centered advice. I believe pre-marriage counseling is an important aspect of getting married that has lost popularity in recent decades for those who are not “church goers,” yet it is critical for couples to understand that marriage is more than a romantic bond. I’d just rather learn how to build a solid marriage without the “God’s agenda” perspective.
