Disclaimer. I know nothing about the card game Magic the gathering. However I got this book for my brother who has played it for years. He wanted a reference guide for his buddies who he plays with when they were trading. He had also told me that this book has come in handy when buying, selling, and trading in their online community. As for an outsider the price point was good. The cover was eye catching. The material was easy to understand for all levels of players. The only downfall was this book was hard to find. I was not able to find it locally and needed it quickly as a gift. Luckily I found it on amazon and was able to confirm with my brothers friends that it was the book he was looking for.
