The cover was already eye-catching, but the description got me even more. I love a good mystery/thriller... especially when there's murder involved. I'm also not typically interested in the fantasy genre, but I think a book like Magic for Liars by Sarah Gailey-- one that involves the thriller aspect-- might catch my attention and draw me into the genre as a whole. I'm curious to see how the mystery and thriller genres converge in Magic for Liars. I've heard that this book bears some likeness to that of The Magicians, so I'm looking forward to it!
