4/5 stars. I picked this up, put it down and picked it back up again. I am so glad I did.
Going into this book i’m not quite sure what i expected, but I definitely was not expecting what this book was. Although i really enjoyed this book and the mysteriously thrilling aspects of it the ending was quite disappointing. If it had been done in a different way this could’ve been a five star read. Sadly the ending just seemed as though the author got bored.
All in all i did enjoy it and do plan on buying a copy!
Now, the cover isn’t my favorite though since it doesn’t necessarily scream “urban fantasy” or just “fantasy. I’m also not sure how the cover correlates to the story at all, but I could have completely missed it. With that being said though, I do actually quite like how simple the cover is and the color scheme. Granted, I am very creativity and an artist, so I do care quite a bit about covers.
