This book wasn't what I was hoping it to be, I went in, hoping to like it because the summary of it was intriguing, and I love a good morally grey character, but this just fell short for me. Around chapter ten, I had lost interest (and almost dnfed it because I was loosing hope). It definitely had a slow start, and I definitely struggled to finish it. There was just a lot going on, from Ivy's relationship with Tabitha to the whole prophecy plot, the romance aspect (which fell short for me), and the ending which you think would give hints to another book, but it doesn't. This book just wasn't it for me. Although I'm not the biggest fantasy fan, but I'm sure those who like this genre would enjoy this book more than I did.
