If you like fantasy, magic realism this is the book for you! I was hooked from the very first page! Remind me in some sort of ways of Harry Potter (which I loved). There’s even a few references here and there which makes it even better. This is a fairly new genre that I’m starting to like more and more. For a debut novel, I think Sarah Gailey did an amazing job capturing the reader with the story. And the scenery, creativity and background setting of the novel definitely keep your imagination running. There’s different “magic worlds” out there in novels like Six of crows, Harry Potter, The Gilded Wolves. But definitely, this one is one to check out. I wanna say perfect for a summer read. Totally recommend!
