Magic for Liars was a thrilling blend of magic and murder - two of my favorite things to read about! The story was well written, and the narrative kept me hooked. The cover is what drew me in from the start - love the vibrant colors and block type imagery. I knew I would enjoy it. The story was not to complex, but it was engaging nevertheless. I would recommend this book to lovers of Harry Potter or other magical fiction, but who aren't afraid of a little mystery and murder! This was a fun read - nothing too difficult to get through, but it was imaginative and compelling nonetheless. I will be lending this book to my 14 year old sister - I think she will absolutely love the story and the characters!
