The cover immediately caught my eye. I would absolutely read the back if I saw this at the book store. Unfortunately, the content didn’t live up to the greatness of the cover. Before even getting 3 paragraphs into the prologue, I was getting strong Harry Potter vibes. It was hard to even pay attention to the quality of the story because it is a direct copy of Harry Potter - not “inspired by” or vaguely related, but it reads like a fanfiction story about a side character at Hogwarts. I would love to try another book from this author with a more original story.
