Not only do I love the cover, but the premise of this book has me hooked. This blend of a gritty noir mystery with a magical academy a la Harry Potter has me so eager to keep turning the pages. The characters felt very lifelike, despite the fact that the setting is very much not, which is a credit to the author. Both the character building and world building appear top notch.
