I feel like I should give a quick heads up with the warnings before we get to it: blood, violence, gore, descriptions of blood/body, murder/mass murder, torture, war themes, gun use/gun violence, PTSD and flashbacks, and grief over deceased friends.

The way the book itself was advertised was with the whole "Bonnie and Clyde" thing, even though technically it is not true because they are not a couple. This book fell flat for me as it is not really interesting despite the premise of the story. I may be wrong as sci fi in books doesnt work for me but I didnt feel anything while reading it. Time jumps always annoy me (except when it's not an epilogue) and I kept wondering how much time had passed as the pacing was pretty bad too.

The worldbuilding was also off, but that doesn't mean it's a bad book, it's just not for me and my taste doesn't make it so good luck with it and I hope you can enjoy it.
