When I started reading I thought it was a contemporary so I'm a bit surprised is a sci fi. The cover is amazing, and even thou sci fi is not my favorite genre, at least not with space stuff, it sounds very intriguing.
I liked the idea of one of the main characters having to decide what side to stand on, showing not all is black or white.
