Dramatic, bloody start with lots of potential

So, I wasn’t originally interested in this book because the cover didn’t really catch my attention. I know, horrible reason to not pick up a book. But, I read the synopsis and decided to download the first look. And I’m so glad I did! The book starts of dramatic and bloody. The prologue gives you an idea of where the book is headed but not enough info that you know right out of the gate what’s going on! I like Jade and the side characters we’ve met so far. I can see how this is set up for a good murder mystery/psychological thriller!! I’m adding this book to my tbr and look forward to reading it! One note, I’d say this New Adult (NA) versus YA, or I suppose you could say it’s upper YA. The characters are in college and appear to be around 20 years old. Though age was never specified for anyone, so I could be wrong.
