This is fantastic. I've always been fascinated with the Titanic, it was just such a tragedy that occurred from a frozen block of water. I've never read anything about it from a fictional character's perspective of the disaster though.
Valora is a lovely character, her personality just shines. She runs into trouble getting onto the Titanic due racism and the Chinese Exclusion Act that was currently taking place in America at the time. She finds another sneaky way on board thanks to her acrobatic skills.
She's looking for her brother amidst the passengers on the massive boat. She also has to deal with playing the role of a person she's not. The widow, whose face is hidden behind a black veil to disguise herself.
