Three words to sum up how I felt after finishing this book would be: Oh. my. god. I could not even begin to put into words how The Ones We're Meant to Find left me in shock and on the edge of my seat. Sci-fi books aren't really my taste in books, but this book makes me want to read more. I'll be honest and say that the beginning of this really did make me confused at first and I was tempted to DNF it. But I am so glad I didn't. You really have to give this book a chance, but you'll be so glad you did in the end. Once you get past the world building, you will not be able to put this book down.

Something I really enjoyed that Joan He did was the buildup to everything that happened. The two perspectives of the two girls were so different and yet the way they came together was done so beautifully. I will admit, I did enjoy Cee's perspective than Kasey's when it came to how invest I was in it. Maybe it's because the sci-fi genre isn't as of now one of my preferred genres, but while reading I felt more devoted to what was happening to Cee than Kasey. Or maybe it's also because I could see some parts of myself in Kasey, who knows.
