Stacy Lee's Luck of the Titanic was a refreshing take on the Titanic that offers a unique perspective on the historic event. I never knew that there were Chinese passengers on the Titanic and loved that this was loosely inspired by the accounts of the survivors.

Valora Luck is a seventeen-year-old British-Chinese who is trying to find her twin brother, Jamie after the death of her father and quitting her job. In order to find Jamie, she becomes a stowaway on the Titanic to find him on the ship with hopes of starting a new life with him in America as acrobats in the Ringling Brothers Circus. However, after their time apart, does Jamie wants the same life Valora is striving for?

This book was heartbreaking and beautifully written. It was my first book by Stacy Lee and it does not disappoint! I am looking forward to reading her other works!!! The cover is also gorgeous and was one of the reasons it caught my attention.

Thank you BookishFirst and G. P. Putnam's Sons for a finished copy of this book!
