Writing and characters drew me in right away.

I have not read anything by Stacey Lee previously, so this first impression was my introduction to her work. I was initially drawn in by the concept of the book. A story set on the Titanic sounded very interesting and one inspired by a true story of six Titanic survivors of Chinese descent just increased my intrigue. After reading the first impression, I am looking forward to reading the book even more. Lee's writing and characters drew me in right away.
