I'm a fan of any fiction of the Titanic, and is what caught my eye at first. Once I started reading I really wanted to know more about Valora. Half British/Half Chinese she has dealt with discriminations all her life. She does not let that define her or allow it to stop her. Her determination and ingenuity made me want to know her whole story.
