Sometimes I feel like historical fiction can be borderline disrespectful, its a fine line when using real events to tell a story for entertainment purposes, but in Luck of the Titanic, the author of The Downstairs Girl avoids such traps weaving what seems to be a heartbreaking story about people whose stories we've failed to tell.
