The Titanic story has always fascinated me and I love getting to read this from such a varied perspective: a Chinese woman, who has snuck onboard, and also is impersonating a first class passenger? Through her brother, we can see working class conditions, through her first class conditions, and from both the perspective of being Chinese-British citizens in 1912. I love the way this is written, because even though it is historical fiction, it reads as easily as a contemporary novel. I would love a chance to read the whole thing!
